PEPE is a very old noble surname, of Norman origin, established at the beginning with feudal possessions from Salerno to Ottati, region where they came to, expelling the moors, on the tenth century,according to chronicles and royal cancilleries documents kept by Naples and Bari State Archives among others. The offspring sprayed all over Southern Italy mainly, with noble branches in Puglia, Calabria, Sicilia
