The Peralta family which cames to Malta from Syracuse , via Francesco
Peralta ( c1520) married to a beatrice Virgilio de Entensis, has an
illustrious and royal lineages.
The family is of Aragonese origin. Phillip, baron di Peralta was a half

of sicily ( 1258-66) who married peter 111 of aragon. His mother was
manfred's widow , beatrice di savoy, daughter of Amadeus IV, count di
