The creation of Said Vassallo has been a long time coming. The first time two family intermarried was in 1675 to Principe Simone Sayd and the Noble Maria Vassallo dei Baroni di Delimara.
The second time they meet was in 1947 with Principe Carmelo Said and the Contessa Maria Vassallo.
The third time both families join in marriage was in 1970, with Principe Giuseppe Said and Mary Doris Vassallo.
Thus the union of the family name of 'SAID VASSALLO'.
